Recently photos of Kobe Paras together with a volleyball player of a popular collegiate team has surfaced on the internet. The photos became viral as people speculate that the two are dating. Kobe Paras is a rising basketball superstar. He is the son of famous former PBA player Benjie Paras. He played for some colleges in the United States and was able to receive a very rigorous basketball training as he played in the tough competition of American basketball.

Pauline "Ponggay" Gaston is one of the players of the Ateneo Lady Eagles. She is the younger sister of Therese Gaston who is also a player in the same collegiate team as hers. Both of them played for the University of Santo Tomas in high school and when her sister transferred to Ateneo for her college studies, Ponggay decided that she would too so that she and her older sister won't have any rivalry between them. Ponggay is currently taking Interdisciplinary Studies.

Lately, a "Fake Prom" event was organized by What Went Down Last Weekend production team. The event was attended by well-known athletes in the country. As such, Kobe Paras and Ponggay Gaston were also in attendance. The two athletes were seen to be cozy and incredibly close to each other in the event. This stirred a rumor that the two are already dating. The photos were uploaded by a certain Facebook page called Face of PH Volleyball. The post earned more than 8,500 reactions from Facebook users as of present time. Amidst all the controversy, the two are yet to confirm the truth behind the real score between them.

The photos earned mixed reactions and speculations from social media users. A lot of people started to suspect what could be the relationship between Kobe and Ponggay is.
